STAUD has opened its first Tennessee boutique in Wedgewood Village
The Los Angeles fashion label founded by Sarah Staudinger opened this summer at 515 Houston St, part of the wave of first-in-Tennessee stores remaking Wedgewood-Houston.
STAUD is open in Wedgewood-Houston. The Los Angeles fashion label opened its boutique at 515 Houston St, Suite 101, in Wedgewood Village this summer, its first store in Tennessee. The boutique took over about 1,700 square feet in the development, a $300,000 finish-out.
The label was founded by Sarah Staudinger, and the Tennessean's coverage of the Wedgewood Village lineup placed STAUD in a group of brands making their Tennessee debuts in the development, alongside names like Zimmermann and Eberjey, near the already-open Hermes. The store carries the label's ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and accessories. Wedgewood-Houston's retail turn is one of the year's running stories, and STAUD is a clean example of it: a national label choosing a neighborhood mill district over a mall.
